so looks like there will be 2 IOM CAMAROS in buffalo lol. i know the other one i saw was from out of the area.

Mike, so I did hear from Gary yesterday, he said the car was still at 3400, but by Tuesday when we get the next update we could be built and shipped by then. Fingers are crossed!

sometimes they update late friday night though so we might already have vins. i know i saw a post on here where a guy went to 3400 on friday night/saturday morning.

I picked mine up Wednesday!!!! IT was awesome so be prepared for some rambling...

I drove from Pittsburgh area to Buffalo to pick it up Wednesday night. I finally got to meet Steve and he seemed pretty nice. All the paper work was ready to go and it actually took me longer to test drive it than it did to sign the papers.

On my 3 hr drive home I was working on varying the rpms and everything

I even got a thumbs up from a Ford guy, I figured that was a pretty big deal. My impressions of the ride home, great! It rode better than you would expect and has a ridiculous amount of power on demand. I only hit 6th gear a few times and was messing with the throttle to break it in and the DIC said i still hit 22 mpg...so i thought that was pretty good too.

The color is amazing. It's much better in person than it is in pictures and it looks good in the pictures. I agree that this car may have entered the party late, but GM got it right in my opinion. I'm at 270 miles and loving it. I know I'm only 24 and this is my first new car, but so far its been a great experience.
