Hi guys
I have Camaro 1SS and I installed the silver door panels for the 2SS: http://www.shopchevyparts.com/interi...-92252134.html And I bought the Ice Blue LED harness for the ABL lighting: http://www.gen5diy.com/index.php?rou...&product_id=61 The problem I faced is that the ABL lighting from the harness is too too dim to a degree that it doesn't glow along the pipe ( Tried many different pipes ). It's like nothing changed. Can anyone please tell what's wrong with it? Is it from the harness or from the car itself ?? Thanks. |

did you plug it in the door or t-tap? The 1ss/1lt plug is dead. You wont see hardly any light like you are talking about. I went to the dealer to program my 1lt like a 2lt but they were too incompetent to get this done. I ended up t-taping into the window switch.

The tube has to be the right kind. I used two lamps for the right side. And one lamp for the short side witch is the drivers side. 2ssrs is the one you seek.

Do you have the brightness up on the interior lights? There's a switch that scrolls by the light control next to the steering wheel.

So you mean by taping it with the windows wires, you connected it with the harness wire together? Did it work? |

Here is my thread... Post 14 shows tells you what wires to tap into. It is not ideal to t-tap but it works just fine. By taping into the window switch, you can adjust the light from dim to bright. It is frustrating that some on here can get it programmed and not have to t-tap with no problem. T-taps are very cheap and is extremely easy to do. It takes 4 t-taps (2 for each door) 18-22 guage. pm me for question. I did this a month ago. |
