JBA catback to stainless power?

Am I going to run into any issues with the connecting stainless power 1 7/8 headers with cats to a JBA 3 inch catback?

No, you shouldn't. Both use factory connection points.

I thought of doing something similar on mine, but it seems like a bottleneck to go from LT headers to a factory 2.5" connection then up to my MBRP 3" X-pipe catback.

Opinions on this?

Unless you are running forced induction it is not something that is going to effect performance. 2.5 inch is plenty for the amount of air that is moving and 3 inch is honestly over kill. That being said, in most cases we can set you up with 3 inch connectors rather than 2.5 if you want them. Or you can have a muffler shop fab it up after the fact.

Why not just get the FULL JBA package as the headers and mids are the same price as stainless power? JBA includes the o2 extensions also and then you will have the sound below and know all parts will fit together perfectly.

JBA has two systems. As long as you buy 40-3114, which necks down in the front, you are fine. If you get 40-3113, it is full 3", and will not bolt up without custom fabrication.
