Thanks for the steak today Scott. Can't wait to see the paint work. This was the attempted drifting corner. It wasn't the boot. Skip to 12:42 see the drift-fail. And of course 2:55. When Brian almost rear ended me in the boot... in the boot. All while getting yelled at by my co-pilot to slow down and how hard it was to hold on with armour all over the place. Ignoring the last two rules of the shotgun seating positon. sd,ho&stfu! I may have added the "tf".

Thanks, it was great fun trying, ultimately we where simply out-classed as you impressed me with your skilz.
The way Chris roared up behind me a few times, I wasn't shure if he wanted to pass or was just trying to help me keep up.
This is my first "muscle car" and I'm learning as I go. In my 20's I drove (and modded) "party" vans. 30's and 40's - SUV's. Our other car is a 2011 Dark Blue Metallic 2LT Traverse. In the spring I traded my 2009 Black Granite Metallic 2LT Traverse (I love metallic black, and yes, we had 2 Traverses) for the Camaro in a spasm of mid-life crisis. Happy 50th Birthday to me!
If I could start over with what I've learned so far, it might be different. But Ive grown to my car for what it is, and intend to make it the best I can afford it to be. There are options for me to close the "keep up with" gap. Forced induction is on the list, but a ways down the road.

SSMike - you are right, my car starts at 135 lbs heavier than yours! At the same trim level, a vert is 254/256 lbs heavier than a coupe.

Published curb weights, low to high:
LT Coupe = 3741 lbs.
SS Coupe = 3860 lbs.
LT Vert = 3995 lbs.
SS Vert = 4116 lbs.

Cool

I'm not a fan of our cars weight. I hope the 6th GEN is a little lighter, say around 400lbs.

Well kinda, it has good weight displacement, but their definitely heavier than my other FASTER cars I had. But I also wish It was a straight axel....I'm just complaining I guess. But I had 92 GT 5.0 with a 331 stroker motor, f1 blower, ARF heads making 650 rwhp that was running 10.80s all day long. That's shifting gears. 2800lbs and a straight axel.

5.0s today are still 300lbs lighter/ less horsepower and still beating us. I just hope the 6th gens are lighter.

And I really hope 600+ rwhp keeps me content for awhile.
