I drove one with the factory installed Hurst shifter also. I agree with you, it is a great shifter. I'm waiting to see if Rydell will throw this in for me or not, if not I will pursue the aftermarket for a shifter. I would be interested in meeting up, if I don't get a shifter right away, and seeing how the stock shifter and the factory installed shifter differ.

Just let me know when as long as its nice weather come on over and ill let you take it out for a drive with me in it of course ! Have them install it as part of the sale i think its like a $ 380.00 option !

LOL But when I broke my bushings in the Hurst, I then went with the MGW shifter. Being the MGW is a full cradle system vs a improved center shaft replacement. Much tighter than the Hurst was, and the 2-3 shift also crisp. Tim S |

Yeah, you are right Tim, the factory Hurst option is a 22% reduction where the aftermarket Hurst is a 44% reduction.
I have seen good things about MGW but not sure if I want to pay that much.

Happy Thanks "Camaro" -giving! I just rec'd word my Pfadt coil-over package in, and asked to bring the Camaro when I can. So Sunday I taking her to Livernois for what will bring my Camaro into the next level of handling! Plus getting my LPE 3:91 gears also getting done at same time, I can really do a burn out! LOL
I just hope the snow stays away for awhile to do test drive when its done. I've been holding off doing the "winter storage time" insurance call just for that reason. FYI...all should check with their agent, I have State Farm, and all car toys for the winter go into "none driving coverage" since in garaged storage, and monthly rate goes to darn near nothing. |

lol. This winter I wanted to finish off my exhaust system and get a CNC TB and have the outside polished, but now it looks like that maybe waiting. Looking at updating out bathroom and a new tub/shower will cost about $2300 with me doing the drywall.

Congrats on the early christmas Tim ! And Jason glad you were able to get the shifter included in purchase of car now the wait ! Are you planning on this being your dd too ? Congats go out to OVERPAR73 also for making forums front page ! Just got back from Karls performance got the dyno done ill post copies of printout later when Kathy gets home printer is acting up but numbers were good for a completely stock car pull # 1 337 rwhp and 335 trq # 2 338 rwhp 341 trq he then let it cool down for a bit then pull # 3 351 rwhp and 347 trq thanks goes out to JD for coming out and watching the pulls with me ! I will try and post the link for the video as soon as they get it up or sent to my e mail !
