Wonder if the front end of the Park Avenue will fit ...

I could always do as one G8 Owner did and put Chevy Impala SS badges on it, and tell people this is what the Impala SS should be!

I am a bit surprised to see so many really liking the HSV VF. To me it is an over-done boy racer in need of refinement. The SS illustration is too conservative with too much Impala / Malibu and not enough Camaro / Vette. Hopefully the SS will get the balance right. |

I don't disagree. I would prefer a less blend with the Chevy sedan look front fascia. In the end, the front fascia will not be a deal breaker.

I expected it to look almost exactly like the other cars which isn't necessarily a bad thing but not my favorite look.

The real problem is that 90% of the renders are that the artist is simply grabbing Malibu Tailights, and other "parts" directly off other GM cars and grafting them. GM doesn't actually design that way. Yes, they have certain styling cues that they use, but the car itself will have it's own lines, and look. We just have to wait and see!
Oh yea, I like overdone boy-racer! :-)

Based off the pics of the Holden and fen's comment I feel it will have a zl1 resemblance in the front and rear and maybe a Malibu side...

From the shapes we can see on the Sprint car, the Holden headlights seem likely but the rest looks identical to the rendering.

Has anyone seen or heard any rumors about it being offered as a Vauxhaul VXR8?

+1. What's key is whether it will come with an LS3 and a manual at a sub $40k price. I'm also curious to see if anything will port over from the Camaro SS. It would be so nice to be able to bring over the 3.91s from the 1LE.
