Hello all!

Have any of you tried going to the dealership for a diagnosis? This may be something you could try first to see if they can pinpoint the issue.

Let me know the outcome!

See my post history. It's called oil-canning. There's a service fix for it. I'll look up my post.

Same issue. I don't want to have a dealership diagnose the car. It sounds like its coming from the gas tank, almost a swishing liquid sound. I'm pretty sure it's coming from the transmission. Happens when I turn the car off, or go from reverse to first. 2012 2ls

Have you tried getting this issue pinpointed at a dealership? They should be able to find some sort of resolution for you.

Are you hearing that knock-knock-knock-knock sound shortly after the camaro warms up on a cold day (20-50 degrees). Some C5 members say it is the exhaust heating up and expanding and others have said it is the fuel tank venting. On my '11 SS i'm going with the exhaust warmup diagnosis since i never heard the noise during the warm summer months. The sound does seem to be on the right side of the car from the backseat area.
