IOM back from the paint shop with stripes!!!

Here is a sort of top down pic from inside my house. It's pretty bad becuase of the window screen and the fact that you can't zoom in with the iphone camera.

Wow, my car will look exactly like this minus the mail slot since mine's a LT2. I may end up going with bumblebee stripes as well.

Are you going to tint the windows? If you, you should consider a bronze finish as it would be hot on that car.

I like the stripes and the car itself. I like how park close to your other car so no one parks too close to the IOM!!

I would also like to say that this is the best looking Camaro I've seen soo far on these forums. The racing stripes on the IOM along with the black ground effects are just simply amazing especially when you see it in person.

I'm still yet to see a better looking Camaro than yours and I realy doubt it will happen. Shark fins on the side for $20 would top it off even nicer maybe I ordered the shark fins for mine, we'll see how it looks.

I beg of you to take some hires photos as I would love to have this car on my desktop background! Preferbly 1920x1200 cough cough or higher

I've thought about doin the gills but haven't decided yet. I had the body shop order new bowties so I can get them painted black too. I'm getting tint put on the car right now actually 20% on all windows, including the windshield. My sister-in-law has a very nice high quality Nikon camera so she will be taking som high res photos later today. I'll post them when I've got them.

I had originally wanted the stripes to follow the angle of the mail slot instead and had it taped up like that. But when I looked at it, it just didn't look right. The only way you notice the mail slot angle is if you are up close and straight on. If you are farther away or off to the side, you only notice the angle on the front facia and when it was taped to match the mail slot, it just looked weird. So I decided to have them re-tape it to match the front facia.

Hopefully it will be sunny enough to see the metal flake, I'll try to get some close ups showing it.

Um, you'll end up with like the hottest car on the road this summer . Yeah, the gills would do the final touches to your ride without someone saying your overdoing it. Your car is perfect (My opinion anyways)... Just time for tint and she's done!

Oh I forgot, I ordered a blackout kit for mine but whether you get that option or not, your ride is still fine. I lookforwards to seeing your hidef photos.

What kind of wax are you using on that ride? I was thinking of doing mine completely by hand one little piece at a time using the new turtle wax ice edition which leaves no streaks or bloches.

I've only had a little over a week and most of that time is was in the body shop getting stripes on. I had the dealer wash and wax it for me when I picked it up and have no idea what they used. I've been using a meguirs spray wax to detail it, but I've got a friend of mine who's dad owns a body shop getting me some of the stuff they use, no idea what it is, lol, I'll find out on Monday
