Just ordered 6/3 at Courtesy. #14 in line. Tell me what you mean by signature and did you order GLOSSY black stripes or are you having it done later?

Congrats on placing your order. If you click on the "User CP" button you can create a signature that will be placed on every message you post (like the yellow Camaro and license plate you see on this post). You cannot order glossy black stripes from GM. The only black stripe package they offer are the flat black decal stripes. I will be having mine painted on after market.

Still no movement on my Camaro!!! I called yesterday and got the they will be moving fast now answer. Oh, I got that answer two weeks ago too. They tell me they will call me when it starts to move.

Dealership translation: As long as we have customers willing to pay over MSRP you will continually be pushed down the list since you got us at MSRP.

Well It's realy true now on

it way for sure.

4150 unknow at this time. 4200 June 23th, 2009.

5000 July 10th, 2009.

6000 The minite the finish stripping it, pianting ground effects, and put on transformer emblems. along with some new RS./SS. emblems

Well the good thing right now is that a lot of shops are willing to give discounted rates just for having some time with the car. However the normal cost for something like this (done right) would be between $1500 to $2000. I have gotten offers as low as $800 but that is for a quick crappy job. If you want stripes then pay the extra money and get them done right.

All cars are going to QC. My first order spent 22 days there. You may not actually be stuck there though, maybe just a few days to give it the once over. Hoping my second order can skip the QC pit.

I'm not sure I believe it or not yet but, my saleman called me today and said my order was submitted to GM. He said that it should be here in four weeks. That seems a little quick to me. It must be true as he said Buzz Sands called him and told him. I have beers once in awhile with Buzz. Nice guy. He does a lot of charitable things for Arizona. That's one of the reasons I went to Sands in the first place.

My order # is NJFRWP. No VIN yet but I'll be on the lookout for that next.

Congrats! I would say 4 weeks is a bit unrealistic though. I waited over 3 weeks just to go from 3300 to 3800. The good thing though is it seems GM is getting through w/the checks faster. I got my VIN on 6-10, then my car went through quality and shipped on 6-11. Sands told me it should be here in 7-10 days. We'll see!

Once you go to 2000 you can move pretty fast. It took me 21 days to go to 3800. I would think 6 weeks might be a little more realistic.

I wouldn't be so sure about that. I've been sitting at 3000 for 18 days now...
