Rockford 360.3 Setup & Configuration Discussion
Well after almost 3 months I am finally putting the finishing touches on an extensive audio build I am at the fun part of actually playing with my Rockford 360.3 software and tweaking my sound. I plan to make a separate post on the whole build over the Thanksgiving Holiday but for this post I figure I would start the discussion for those that have this wonderful sound processor to share their experiences, settings and maybe even some equalization files that we could tailor to our speaker setup. I feel the Rockford Manual is very confusing jumping all over the place and also they do not include any base files that we could possibly work off of. I am willing to host files for those that want to share and experiment. I have measured all the speaker distances for the Camaro for delays and so that could be use by anyone regardless of the type of speakers.
To go over briefly my components in addition to the 360 I have 2 x T1000 Rockford Power amps to power 2 x Alpine XD 12" 1000 Watt subs, a Rockford Power T-800-4 powering HAT Claurus woofers up front and HAT Imagine 6x9's in the rear, as well as, a Rockford Power T400-4 in 2 Channel mode powering the Claurus tweeters up front. I have the Kenwood 6990HD in the Scosche kit and all is working perfectly! I left the stock amp in and disconnected all the stock speakers except the center channel which I use ONLY for Onstar, and this setup, although a tad loud, works perfectly for my application....I did NOT want to put the Onstar through my audio system! I think the amp settings are pretty standard on the High and Low passes and the crossovers so not really worth posting. The gain is the only thing I think we will vary on and I am curious what others have theirs set on. I have my front tweeters and mids with the gain at the 1/2 way mark (I think 5). It sounds perfect to me for front sound staging but curious on what others have. Now I want to personally take this time to thank Darkrider01 so much for all his help in many posts in this forum! I even asked him to call me today and share his experiences and setting with me and he was kind enough to spend almost 2 hours with me on the phone today, on a Sunday!! Great guy and why this forum is special..so many willing to help and share at C5! So I wanted to post some screenshots of my settings for a driver front stage and see if others have advise on what I can do better (I am by no means any expert on this!) Here are all 8 speaker settings with a flat EQ (I have not even went down that road yet!) I have adjusted delays and levels according to the speaker distances to try and center the front sound stage. I am open to any input and lets please share information! BTW, I am sure I do not have the perfect settings yet but the sound is simply AMAZING already! I have been in alot of cars with fine audio and there are many great brands but, I have to say that Rockford make some seriously good sounding Sh1t! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()
