ZL1 sounds better then a ZLRS too. Lol

I did consider the 1LE, but after calculating the money I would spend upgrading the 1LE witch would equal the same or more as the ZL1, but still would be a 1LE in value. Also I have notice several SS's on youtube with 2300 Superchargers, cams and head work, but they still are 40 to 50 rwhp down from a Zl1 with equal work, with just the 1900 supercharger.

If I was not able to afford the ZL1 or if the ZL1 did not exist I would certainly go for the 1LE.
If the ZL1 did not exist, I would have got the new GT500

1LE, always tight suspension did not meet my cruising requirements. I was also concerned that power would be lacking similar to my 2010 2SS. Love the ZL1!

I use my Camaro for a lot of Autox events...the 1LE set up will work for what I want to do after I finish some mods, for a lot less than the ZL1 that was also at the dealership when I bought the 1LE...I have had a version of Mag ride on a prior Corvette, not a big fan of it...will dial in the 1LE for my preferences and use...I mainly bought the 1LE to get the manual trans, as my prior SS was an auto....

I happened to find a 1LE available in black (my favorite color) and must admit it is a very attractive vehicle, especially considering it is almost $18K less than a ZL1.

While it doesn't have the ZL1's suspension or the blower, it IS $18k less...

So, let me know if you considered the 1LE and why you chose otherwise?
never ever consider it, because it is not a ZL1 which is the high end Camaro. What you end up doing is TRYING to make it ZL1 in which it will never be. Also the ZL1 will command more money at resale in the long run because of LP. Now nothing wrong with the other Camaros, they are great and if I did not have the money I would go for the lesser Camaro.
Just look at what gets the most money at auction, it is normally a limited production car, now that does not alway hold true in the long run for all cars, you never can know that.
Just think, what if you bought the Z28 in 69 when you could wait and get a ZL1???? Now that was not the move that was a wise one.

I see many many want adds and other sales of the ZL1 hood, Blower, wheels, bumper, hood insert and many other 1/3 parts that do not come one other Camaros.

Until you know the look of a ZL1, most Camaros look the same. Put them side by side and there is a BIG difference.

You may spend more than $18k trying to make a 1LE like a ZL1.

I sold my supercharged SS/RS for the ZL1 and I couldn't be more pleased with this beast! I would fork over the extra dough if you can...

Didn't really consider ZL1 mainly because I couldn't. I believe that when it is all said and done the 1LE equipped SS will be the rarest of all the production fifth gens.

The 1LE is what the SS should and could have been from the start. The engineering from the ZL1 suspension and wheels, not including the magnetic shocks of course, eliminated the push that the SS has in a racing environment.
I prefer the ZL1 because it is the deal of the century in performance so far.
