I am very happy with the CAI the butt dyno is awesome the sound it makes at WOT is amazing. Even with the trouble i had installing it, it is well worth the time.

does your CAI make a sound at WOT? the only thing that i hear is that it makes my exhaust sound a little louder and meaner

The CAI Inc intake systems are ceramic coated inside and out to prevent heat soak. The air box is also insulated. You can see in these thermal images of one of their prototype air boxes that while the outside of the intake appears hot as it reflects heat the inside stays cool. IAT temps reflect that as well.

He has an RX catch can and breather cap. That hose is capped off.
