Zaino CS (Clear Seal) Questions
Sorry for the new thread, search came up empty. Anyone tried out the Zaino CS? I have not, but I'm curious. Does it affect the shine quality? Extend the durability any?
I'm also considering using it on the polished aluminum wheels. I would think that it would both enhance the shine and provide some measure of pitting and oxidation protection. Any thoughts on this? From the Zaino Site: Quote:

I have been useing the Z-CS for about three years (Zaino user for 13 years) on my 1996 Impala SS and my 2004 Silverado 2500 HD. I use CS with the entire Zaino process. I will start on my Camaro this week (just picked it up on Friday).
After I wash with Dawn, Clay, Wash with Z-7, I am going to use the CS first as a base coat. After I polish multiple times with Z-5 and Z-2 I will top coat with CS. Like Sal Zaino says, then get out your sun glasses.

I plan on doing the Z-AIO first, then Z-2( multiple times) then the clear seal for the final coat.
Do you really need the clear seal ?(after all Z-2 is a sealer)I look at it as extra protection. |

You can wash the car, clay bar, even though it really isn't necessary yet, and use a polish on it, then the CS. I really don't see the need for the CS. But, like I said, I've never used it and never will. GOOD LUCK!

Reading some other forums as hb suggested (not much help BTW, Autopia is all over the place)
My plan is as follows: Dawn Wash Clay Bar to get the rest of the rail dust off Z7 Wash 1 Coat Z5 with ZFX 2 Coats Z2 with ZFX Z6 between each coat Z-CS top coat to extend Z-16 Tires Z-CS Wheels Final Step - Massive burnout. Just kidding, those Pirelli's are expensive! That massive burnout will have to wait for the 15-20K miles I'm hoping to get on them. Anyone have other thoughts? I'm leaning towards more Z-2 than Z-5 because my paint had better not be swirled before I get the car. BTW, I will not be having the dealer wash it. |

Beawolf, Honestly I dont see a reason for the Z-5 if theres no marring since Z-5 is
a filler (like a glaze). Just my 2 cents. Put the Z-5 up for now and use it maybe 6 months down the rd. or when you get swirls etc.Because you will eventually get them and the Z-5 will help hide them with its filling property's. |

I use it, I like it. Makes the exterior feel really smooth, I can't say it improves the looks because my SIM has always looked very glossy to me. It seems like the simplest product to apply, which is why I'm using it.
