Did that cover everything or just the trans?
I'm in the big city of Fowlerville, near Brighton. We'll have to hook up some time. I'm heading up to Clare this weekend for a show and race put on at a local airport.

Owen built a 4L60e back in the day that we put in my small block Nissan. It held up to 2 nitrous kits and 3 years of abuse before I finally killed the torque converter. Insides still looked great when cracked open, so it'll be going back in the car behind the new motor this summer.

What are the chances of DSS opting out a drive shaft for the DSS and LPE AAM rear diff coversions and get a drive shaft for the 4L80 instead of the A6?

Seems like a waste to end up with two drive shafts and use only one when the one solution is the 4L80 for the hp junkies.

Bump ... DSS / Frank - I am likely to be in this same position in short order. We just reviewed this for my build and am likely to move in this direction. Great post here! Curious on DriveShaft as I will have all DSS gear and a 9" but will be moving to this route as well.

Great post!
