BL202- You are right it does ask for user name not a password. I put in my name and the screen just stays shaded and it doesn't do anything. What do you get when it accepts your user name? Any idea what the claim link is for?

I just found my VIN on there too; and when I went to claim, it just asked for my name (but the text below said please use forum name).

God love Spastic Squirrel, eh?

Thank goodness for the Squirrel !!!
I haven't heard from my dealer, but I found my own vin on the spastic squirrel site !!!
Now if there was just a site so I could track my own order I would be in great shape, I'm tired of not getting any help from my dealer !!!

All it does as far as I can tell is replaces the word claim with your forum user name. Guess so other people can see that the vin belongs to another forum member. Odd thing was, I saw a user name with a vin from my city on there but couldn't locate the user name in the forum data base. Also for what it's worth, when I put in my user name it seemed to take a long time to process it all.

My financing has been done over 3o days (good for 90). Hell, my insurance is already started and I don't have it yet. Ordered my new exhaust and I'm patiently waiting.

I'm the same way. Not that my dealer has screwed me in any way so far but he really seems uninterested in the whole process. I called him the other day just to verify my order number so I wouldnt be devastated if they had given me the wrong one initially and I was watching someone elses progress. When he called me back he said that my car had been produced which I already new from the forum. I asked for the vin which I already had and he said that they wont know the vin until they get the invoice. I guess I shouldnt expect all dealers to be as enthusiastic about this car as the dealers on the forum so I didn't tell him that I already had all the info. It would just be nice if he seemed like he wasn't bugged by any question I ask him. I'll play nice so long as they don't try the "market value adjustment" thing on me.

Got my VIN today!

I am so excited!!

Dealer called me today and let me know that my Camaro was shipped on June 10th and it should arrive by June 20th.

The squirrel is good!

Actually got an email from my dealer this morning, he had several from me waiting when he got back from vactaion this morning ....

We are leaving for a two week vacation tomorrow morning and are really worried about our car and it's status.... so of course he let me know that it will be in on the 19th, two days after we leave .... nice, and he made some cute joke about how he was going to be driving it while we are gone .... of course two of the emails I had sent him were along the line of " IF our car shows up while we are gone you are to hide it in the garage, do not show it, do not put it on the showroom floor ! We do not want to come home to a messed up car !!!!! " Time will tell ... I have let him know that we want to come in tonight and sign all of our paperwork and pay for the car NOW, that way there is NO TEMPTATION to sell it off while we are gone.....

dam...a week ago i thought spastic squirrel no longer worked and now that i know i been checking it everyday for passed week almost and it hasnt updated!!! lol prolly woulda been better off no knowing it worked again

Ummm it has updated. Pretty much finding new stuff daily. Just since last night 198 more were added.
