No suggestions here, but if it were me, I would be plotting.

If interested i will give you the address and you can drive your car there and watch it getting nailed with wood chunks . Ps And it isnt like i have to coordinate yard work with him either , He never does any , He is a lazy "green" freak. Sits on his as$ all day doing nothing, And when his kid is hitting balls i will also let yhou know.
Thanks for the offer, but I prefer to live hundreds of feet away from my nearest neighbor to avoid such issues.

To me, I see this whole thing as being a bit silly. Should your neighbor do his mulching so close to you? I don't know. How big is the lawn? Would it be reasonable for your neighbor to do his mulching at some other place on his property? How much of an inconvenience would that be for him? How much of an inconvenience would it be for you to buy a car cover?

As for the whole baseball issue, that is a different story entirely. I would guess that if everyone involved has enough insurance, that shouldn't be a problem. However, if you have already had documented damage to the car, I would come after him with any and all available means.

I guess at the end of the day though, if I were in your shoes and had so much of a problem with your neighbor and potential damage to your car, I might simply find a new spot to park. You could move your car to a different point on your property, build an enclosure, or just move if it is that big of a deal for you.

Just guessing, but do you live in a subdivision? If so, is there a home owner's association? Maybe that would be a good solution for you.

In my opinion, it is lame, stupid, and ignorant to hold a $40k car note. Note that I am not singling out anyone in particular.

If you have the funds put up a cheap fence (wood or metal) and be done with it. If you hear him start up his lawn mower, move your car into the street or go for a nice drive. Maybe even get a one of those car awnings? that are about $600.00 which includes installation and put some plywood sides on it so it's almost like a garage. I plan on getting one for next spring.

Yea I have one of those left wingnut, class envy hypocrite green weenies living next to me. He's into it big time, so gullible! He does whatever TV does and Al Gore is sucking in the cash.
In GA we can burn our leaves at certain times of the year but you need to call the fire dept and they issue you a burn permit over the phone.
Not this left wing idiot, wind rain or whatever he loves to smoking everyone out usually on a nice day.

Since you're "not singling out anyone in particular", why would you bother posting so much commentary on a site where the majority of members are owners of cars that are $40k, if you think it's "lame, stupid, and ignorant"?

car wash

Next time you wash your car make sure the area several feet from your car is wet down enough to make it hard for him to work near your car..

Let me put it into simpler terms for you.

When you own your $40k car, horray for you. Congrats!

When a bank owns your $40k car, I think you are lame, stupid, and ignorant.

The whole point of my post is that I do not know whether the user cornerspeed92 owns his/her Camaro outright.

According the logic of some people on this board, I should have bought a ZL1 a long time ago. I can "afford the payments." Heck, I can "afford the payments" on a ZR1. If you would like to continue this conversation further, I would be happy to do so over PM.

I think you are lame, stupid and ignorant, hell, I bet you smell bad too.

For being on these forums, driving an 08' Maxima and dreaming of a Camaro when one is nothing more than affordable monthly payments away. For 0% or extremely low interest rates.

Oh please do, we're too lame, stupid and ignorant to understand and only someone of your superior intelligence can explain it to us.

I had seen him raking and thought he was sweeping them in the street ,( Which would not do any good because the last pick-up was a week ago!) I walk outside on Thanksgiving trying to cook my Turkey and this guy now is right next to my Camaro and was filling his lawn mower up again with gas , I said to him tryng to not get in to a Hatfield / McCoys fued, Why are you mowing your leaves? He replies in his hippie green way, " It is natural fertilazer for the lawn" , uughh I said hmmm never heard of that the rest of us sweep them on the street and the city takes them , He mubbled something ,and i replied , "You are planning on mulching all these leaves and twigs 3 feet from my Camaro? He said yah , I said "How about you knock on my door next time and let me know i really would be mad if i got a bunch of stratches on my car from sh@@ flying all over it , and so much for my wash job that lasted 1 hour ,the car now has a thick layer of dust all over it. I told him to hold off and let me park my car on the street so that it is safe, I was so mad i walked away and had to move 3 cars .To let this guy finish , I have not spoken with him since , I really want to give him a real piece of my mind as i didnt want to get into it with him on Thanksgiving Day with Family and Friends . I am still fuming on this as now the temps have dropped and i have not washed the car yet and still have to look at that dust. UUGGHH!!!
Any Advice and what would you guys do?
I can relate...I use to have a neighbor like that. That was the one of the main reason I moved, so nobody gets hurt type thing. Long story short, this neighbor was one of the neighbors that NEVER try to get along with another neighbor if they just moved in. Worst 5 years living next to a neighbor. He never spoke, while sitting in his garage across the street drinking beer, he just stared at me when I washed my vehicles, then would cut his grass while I was in the process of washing...to try to pissed me off. I would usually try to pick a day when I think my neighbor is done with his outside yard routine and cut my grass followed with a nice long car wash. Behold....here comes the neighbor out in his yard, cut his grass and blow his grass...leaving grass in the street(extreme pet peeve). So I continue to finish my car, and before I get chance to move it, this idiot blows the rest of the grass off his lawn into the street which is now traveling across the street(my house) in my driveway and on my vehicle. I think it was jealousy or just a plain stupid old man. Every time he saw me it was like competition, maybe thinking "Man, what did I do wrong in life....let me F*** with my neighbor across the street". Any hoo, what I did was invest in a California duster, don't scratch the paint and its quick and easy until I moved
