There's a lot of dead deer around here, on the shoulders of the freeway.

I took three of them out in Northern CA: Two in my Cutlass, one in a rental car (one of the few times I had opted into the "extra" insurance... paid off handsomely as the deer did $$$thousands$$$ in damage as it rolled all the way over the car at 50 MPH less than I was moving. Everybody I know in that part of the state has hit deer, except for my friend Rod, who was HIT by a deer (He came to a stop for the deer crossing the road, one of the bucks got all crazy and rammed the side of his car a few times...).

Deer meat is awesome! The only other animal that tastes better is Elk but hell man if Bambi has too many buddies in the forest then it's time for some population control! Skin and quarter them animals and have yourself some good eatin'!
Venison is so much better than anything you can find in the store. |

Give me smoked backstrap any day. Deer sausage with some fatty pork and hot spices blended in is awesome with biscuits and gravy.
