Thanks for the info. The yellow is my second pick! The car in Transformers 1 is an awesome machine. If Chevy had that pearl yellow that would be what I would order.

Im new to this site and i see that alot of you have posted tracking of the cars you have ordered right down to the delivery date. I have ordered one last week and i understand it will take some time to receive it. But how would i go about tracking my order does anyone know? Any help would be greatly appreciated as i am very excited about my first new car the 2010 Camaro!

The easiest: Contact your dealer...
They should have given you a WorkBench number, six digit, ALPHA-Numeric.
The order progresses, depending on your dealerships allocation, is how long it will take to get your car... Bigger City Dealerships tend to get higher allocations. I ordred 3/16, took delivery 6/6

Word of advise, dont get caught up in all the negativity of delays and minor problems (that only few, in the grand scheme of things) have experienced.

BTW, what did you order?

Well, the dealer said they put my name on the list and will be getting in touch. He said I am number 36 on the list. But, he didnt have give me any numbers. But, I put down $500.00 for now and got the receipt. They wont get the rest till I get some numbers now. Another dealer told my husband that they will call me back in to check and make sure thats all I want on the car and at that time I can make any last changes I need too. But, does that sound right? As for the Camaro-Its 1LT Yellow RS

I initally wanted the 1SS, but I cant afford those pmnts right now. Maybe a year from now I can upgrade again

Seems your on a waiting list, not an actual order.
IF you can come out to California you would get your car quicker. SOme dealers have a higher allocation out here.
I know a couple that are doing MSRP...
You can also ask about drop shipping to a dealer in your area, but I really dont know how that works...

Well, can you tell me what drop shipping is cause I've never heard of that? I dont think coming to California would be an option for me cause I would have to pack up 2 kids, husband, and my doggie. LOL. I do appreciate the information though cause I am going stir crazy just waiting.

Drop ship - ship to a delivery point other then order point. For example - you order it in a dealership in say Detroiy MI so usually it would be shipped to that dealership, but you instead get it "drop shipped" to a dealership close to you instead.

Drop ship actually does have another definition but I think that's what is meant above.

Thanks for Drop Ship info. Didn't know you could do that. I'll just stick to waiting cause I know it will be worth it. This will be my first muscle car

My Husband has two 64 1/2 coupe mustangs and a 66 fastback. I'll have my own toy to play with now.
