Find a different dealer. Buff Whelan Chevrolet in Sterling Hts, Michigan has 10 coming in that are not yet purchased, and they'll be here in the next 6 weeks. I'm sure many dealers have caught up on their diehard Camaro customer demands by now and will have cars available to the "general public" without a markup over MSRP. Your dealer obviously ordered more than he was allocated. What a shame....you could've had your car long ago from a different dealer.

for you to stop caring after two months makes me wonder what the hell i should do. i ordered mine on 12-12-08 and just found out that i'm still at 1100. i am f***ing pissed right now. any suggestions on how i should handle my dealer would be nice.

Well our car was ordered first day of ordering, built march 26th and put on hold for 10+ weeks, finally delivered to dealer on June 8th with a car 11000+ vin #'s higher. Sucks to wait but have faith, the car is amazing, better than expected. Would be more than glad to wait again. Had car since Jun 9th and has over 600 miles because its so hard to stay away from it. Quit Complaining and wait like everyone else, you will soon have your car and be enjoying it.

To all the pre orders. You all knew you had a long wait hell they didn't start production until march. I just don't understand why your cars haven't been delivered or even built. Just keep the faith, it will be worth it. I got to drive an RS.... NICE!

For all those bitching about how long they have waited, you have to remember they did not start building them until 3 16-09. That's really only 3 months from the time they started building them. Now as time passes I would start getting anxious. Waiting more than 3 months for a production car is getting kind of crazy. Hopefully they will catch up soon and start flooding the lots with them.

You also have to remember that production was delayed several times. Originally it was supposed to start in February.

When we put our pre-orders in, the start of production was Feb! Not March. Then GM delayed it.
If you were waiting 8 months (if you ordered), you be getting ticked off at cry babies whinning about 2 months.
