2012 LS3 clicking noise while starting

I have been hearing this loud clicking noise while starting the car cold. it clicks twice while the motor is turning over. does anyone have any clue what this could be? it doesn't do it every time I start it but most of the time it does. I was thinking it could be something electrical but sounds more mechanical. could the clutch make this kind of noise or flywheel? also it sounds like its coming from the driver side of the car. don't want to take it to the dealer till I have some clue what it might be cause its one of those things where most likely they can't duplicate. thanks

This is the only thing that I can recommend which is going to the dealership for a diagnosis. Have you mentioned this to them before?
