That poster sounds pretty worthy, as long as it's not a pic of John Holmes. <-- the closest we have to a John Holmes smiley...

Which reminds me, I've got a pic somewhere of me sharing a chair with Nina Hartley. Hmmm... might have to dig around and find that one.

3. Smith and Corona 1903a3, original
4. 1911a1 Remington Rand, original
5. National Postal Meter M1 carbine, original

The value of these guns total, about 8-9k but we dont plan on selling any of them. Also own a bunch of .22 training rifles, mausers, many carbine, and a bunch of pistols like a p.38,p.08, Police Special...etc

That Garand is beautiful. I have a Springfield Garand made in Sept 44, rebarrelled in 1952. Good possibility it was used in the war. I also have an Inland M1 Carbine.

As promised, here are two of my knives. These were both made by Daniel Watson (or more likely, one of his apprentices).

This is a semi-one off that I got for my wife. It's her camping/hunting/eating/utility/whatever knife.

This is one of my favorites. Its a one-off made by Daniel from modern day manufactured "Damascus" steel (Wootz). The handle is leather/wood/stone with a steel pommel.

yeah but seeing as I didn't get them until he had already been passed on for 20 years....

Peter Cetera might also add value, but he refused to sign it as he has not been a part of Chicago since the 1980s, I got him to sign a t-shirt instead.

Personally I am not a big fan of Chicago, I like some of their stuff, however my wife is a Chicago nut.. She has been going to their concerts and getting pictures and stuff signed since the mid 1970s, She has some Terry Kath signed pictures and albums, as well as Peter Cetera..

But her love is Robert Lamm.. She has more signed Robert Lamm stuff than I can count, boxes and boxes of it.

Cool... I have a pretty fair Ammon R. Smith collection myself, but I don't have that piece! What is it? Address book? Pocket calendar?

I got a couple

This is the actual rare thing- a copy of "History of US Marine Aviation in WWII" by Robert Sherrod. It's inscribed by Sherrod, who went ashore at Iwo Jima, to General Graves Erskine, a Marine General who was at Iwo Jima. This was General Erskine's book. I've used my 1919 Springfield manufactured Model of 1905 bayonet to hold it open

I have an M1 rifle, 1944, an M1 carbine, 1943, and I made a 1903A4 from a sporterized Remington 1903A3. All sorta middle of the road 'rare', I suppose

I also have a 1918 Production Colt-made Model of 1911. Somebody decades ago put a target sight on the front; it's pretty accurate. All original parts except later production 1918 barrel and front sight. I'd love to know it's full history. It went to Springfield Armory in 1918 to be inventoried, that's all I know

I also collect WWI-WWII era militaria, all US. Here's a portion. This is cool- gas ration card of my Grandfathers, dated 12 August 1944. I was born 12 August 1971. Weird, the card was kept for some reason and just happened to have my birthday. The pocketknife, sharpening stone, and ship-builder's badge were all his

edit-

I forgot, in Massachusetts, this is rare- an M1A1 that I bought legally. It was registered and legally owned here before the ban!

What the heck, here's my 1944 M1 rifle

...and my 1903A4gery. Stock is USGI, not aftermarket
