We do not know what fits the L1E at this time. I am not sure if it has the same exact calipers as the SS. If they did they would most likely use the weights the SS uses. As soon as we can get a 1LE to test fit. I will post some more information.

I appreciate it but a picture won't do. Also the front calipers would be the larger ones anyway and the more concerning. Sorry I am unable to help at this time.

Question

Hi, I'm a bit confused, and have read more than half a dozen pages on this thread without finding a conclusive answer. I have a SS with front 245/45R20 and rear 275/40R20. I understand the 245/45R20 LM-60 would work in the rear (even if different size width), but would the 275/40R20 DM-V1 work in the front? I understand narrower tires are better, but would this work ok? I live in Chicago, drive mainly on the highway, and when there is a lot of snow, I can work from home.. I just want something that can take me safely to/from work on most days during the winter, and the LM60's are much more expensive.

Thanks!

The 275 is too wide for the front wheels so its not recommended.

Thanks for the quick response Rudy. Would the Wide Oval AS be a better choice for the fronts (while leaving the DM-V1 for the rears)? I understand that mixing the LM60 and DM-V1 is a bad idea..

(The Wide Oval's being All-Season, not snow tires unfortunately)

ps: i find it remarkable the lousy selection of snow-tires that are available for the dimensions that the camaro comes with.

YOU SHOULD NOT MIX WINTER TIRES. You want the front end of the car which controls a majority of the turning and stoping to have the same traction as the rears. I know there are not many option. Either go 4 all seasons or 4 matching winter tires.

Ok, much appreciated. I'll probably need to decide whether I am better off buying a full set of rims&tires (19" seems like the best bet). I just can't stand paying so much for the LM60s and just get tires

ps: anyone get in trouble if they buy tires/wheels that are put together without tpms, and then just drive them without getting it done locally? not sure who would make a big deal about it but...?

Rudy..got the 17" package with the Blizzaks and had them installed today. They fit and look great!
Only thing is the TPMS isn't working. Sorry if you already covered this.
Is the anything I need to do to reset it? The light says to service the tpms.

Glad to hear everything fits and looks great! Did you have the senors installed in your package? If so you should be able to follow the reset in the owners manual. Let me know or give me a call.
