Thumbs up ok

ok this is what you do when you go to the beach to go surfing bring some snacks with you (sounds stupid its not keep reading) Then were you lay your stuff down get like a box of crackers or ceral or something thats a box with food in it and put your key in a zip-loc bag and put it in the box and under a towel there you go problem solved!! (I hope!!) I dont think someone would go look in a box of crackers for your key!! hahaha

There has to be just a regular key. And no putting a battery powered keyfob into a gas tank is NOT really a good idea lol.

sorry i should have been more clear locking filler door, and why not the gas cap is sealed thats how you don't throw codes, the door is not air tight, plus even though it is battery powered current is only going through it when a button is pressed, plus you need spark to cause a ignition and there is no arching going on inside a key fob

i guess your one of those guys that still thinks cell phones are blowing up gas stations

This makes for good research so I will start on this on Wednesday! For those that have the OnStar Idea..... OnStar won't work if the car is under a structure... like a parking garage, gas station over hang or under a bridge!

And if the situation were involving the need for a waterproof key how the heck would he be able to carry a cell phone. I hope I dont have to rely on you slueths to figure out much.....focus on the details....lol

Not a bad idea. Thanks for that one.

I'll definitely try the dealer parts department but was just wondering if anyone knew. I know some people have said that these keys are lazer cut or something and potentially super expensive. I guess I'll be the first one to find out heh.
