just a suggestion, appears that you are planning 8 months in advance...why not pick 3-4locations , being all car guys, most of you mods have a good feel for the venue and what it takes to make it sucessful...and put it out there for a member vote....each member with under 1000 posts counts as 1 vote and any member with 1000 or more posts gets 2 votes.. the senior member has proved his membership and should have a little more say then a newbie with 12 votes...hell , they might not be a member by the time cfest comes along..so seniority should count for something..just a idea to think about...nobody can be upset if majority rules...then eliminate that city the future year to be fair to others...imo

Well whatever the reasoning may be for indy being the location again, I'm glad it's in Indy! We had a great time and look forward to seeing everyone again in aug 2013!

Some people have no life and c5 posting is all they care about. I disagree, make it based on join date

I missed it last year and regretted it so I am definitely going this year. Indy is a one day drive for me so I am happy.

thats another idea, but if they joined 2 years ago and contributed to 3 posts, that not really much of a member, is it?..but like these posts, ideas to kick around and look for ways for the members to help decide, so its not like the mods pick and choose for us...i,m sure they are gonna do a great event and this in no way a easy task...and don,t want to sound like a ingrate...but i was also under the impression that these fests would rotate...yearly..

i hope to make it to indy, but is a 18hr drive and the $$$ is not the issue, its the time off work...that is hard for me..

Hmmmmm.... Interesting. All of the articles I read made it sound like the track was doomed. They were dated earlier than your article though so maybe there's hope!

Mercuryman also said it looked good from his racing sources. As far as the Fest is concerned this would be great.
