Some of us got on the oval last year.......75mph is fairly fun.....so is being kindly asked to leave by an Indy police officer.....lol.

B you are too funny.

I have learned two things here:

If someone user name is Poormanscamaro he probably poor. If his second user name is aSSian he is most likely bad driver and will wreck your Camaro.

JK Jason you know I love you.

The problem isn't waiting another year, for me its the fact at its almost two years before I even have the potential to go, and thats assuming its not just in Indy every year from now on!

But I completely agree with everything else you said haha

Has it calmed down on this thread yet? Did I forget to say I'll be at INDY?
Well, I'LL BE AT INDY FOR cAMARO5 FEST IV!!!!!!!!!!

Just a few suggestions to the Mods.

Is there any way to have Registration at the Host Hotel so people can have their name tags for the Meet and Greet?
And second, maybe a card to put on the car so people will know whose car and who it belongs too?

I made a sign in Word with my user name on it and placed it on the dash for Fest. I put the sign in a sheet protector and it made it heavy. Sat nicely in my engine bay.

We absolutely realize that moving around is what sets The Fest apart from stationary events where it's the same people, same cars, same displays every year. and you don't even need to go because there's always next year.

There is something magical about this one that really makes it special. That would be the "people part". Moving it around has a HUGE people aspect, which is why so many folks are so passionate about the decision (no matter where it is) New people get to attend as it moves around. You get to finally meet the folks you've conversed with on a keyboard. Or if you're me you will find out a couple months later who you were talking with. It may not work out every year but at some point it will and it will be better than ever when it does.

...and someday my Chargers will win the Super Bowl and when they do.

That's a great suggestion, it has recently been discussed, but I can't remember the outcome. Bottom line is the registration part is something on the list to streamline.

and funny you ask because nametags for cars has been top of my list for the past 2 fests. I'll bump that tread up and we'll work that too. Thanks!!!

I agree ! ! ! AND GET MORE ORGANIZED !!! Last year we were among the first 25 to arrive on Friday morning at the track. We were told to park near the main ticket gate. Then we were told to move back to the pit area. By the time they told us to move, the "goody bags" were gone. Also, trying to find the pre-paid shirts was not easy. We asked at the host hotel on Thursday, nobody knew anything. Same thing on Friday at the track. Finally on Saturday we were able to locate them at the track. Hopefully we can get that parade lap at Indy 500 track that "somebody" was working on last year.
