I have had the same thoughts. I didn't do all of this to leave it outside in a parking lot.

It wasn't really all that bad this year weather wise for parking outside. Sure some usual morning dew, but the detail spray took care of that ...which would have been and was daily by all done anyway for the event.

The weather issue was during the event, when that storm came up fast, real fast that everyone was scrambling to secure tents, displays and such. I was next to THR's monster display tent and had fear of that sucker flying into my car, but the 55 gal drums of weight THR used was strong and secure

Brokering for someone? After reading article on how difficult it was to get these, such as large racing dealership, race related business, true racers and etc etc had the advantages, this sure seems a out of the blue company to have one for sale.

They provide the asking? $200,000+ as what is listed on ebay by another. Be a fun car to drive down the track!

It is fine leaving it outside. You are parked next to 1000 other Camaros and all the Iowa peeps parked together anyway. C5 fest is a must do for any enthusiast.

I would just want to enclosed trailer to bring my camaro to and from the show to keep the miles down and the rock chips to a minimal. However, I just checked the calendar and it looks like I will be working that weekend anyways.

Nope, that only affected those who wanted the polished rims. I like the midnight silvers. Mine is already here some where in the States waiting for a truck transport to Rydell. I am hoping it will be here tomorrow thru Monday.

.....has anyone thought of just booking rooms now the Wyndam. Logi seems this will be the host hotel again, and early announce of location means moderators maybe trying to get majority hotel blocked

I did see that. As what I have happen when I go to GoodGuys events, and when the block of rooms is used up, that only means the "extra" savings is not avail, but a room is possible avail. My discovery was the "event block" savings sometimes was under $10

Was trying to be sure we all were at same place again, and of course the host is perfered for parking lot event.

sounded like the Raceway was in on making a deal on the rooms. So the Wyndam may be the wrong choice. I suppose a person could always book now, like you said Tim the savings might not be that much and a person could always cancel.
