i always try to stick to Top Tier gas, which most brands mentioned in this thread are. However, this is no 93 octane to be found in my town or in the town where I work. So I settle with 91-octane Phillips 66 gas. I would use Shell if there was one in town.

Shell 93 V-powerrrrrr. I also refuse to go to BP. Boycotted them right after the spill.

While filling up at Petro Canada with 94 at $1.45 per liter I remembered,
" I didn't want to eat this week anyway"

Thats all I burn ,so there is nothing to compare.

Shell 93 all the way. Been using it for years on my cars. Luckily there are 2 in town real close to the house. One of them has a special on Tuesdays, you get 93 for the price of 89.

In town I usually go to Kwik-Trip because they are a Top Tier dealer, cheaper than Shell and I trust them. When not in town I usually always try to find a Shell station.

If you have a V8, then a top tier with cleaning agents is essential to keep the intake valves from forming deposits, but a V6 is direct injection so any brand will be the same, just the octaine I reccomend 93 for all.

Agreed. Using too high of an octane when not needed will make the engine run worse.

I used to use Shell Premium then found a local store 5 minutes from me carries ethanol free so I switched.

Nope not in my state. Ethanol free corporate gas stations is becoming more and more rare.

I feel like I'm being ripped off when they put ethanol in my gas. Sucks.
