hid kit
some people have told me that putting an after market hid kit , will actually melt the plastic of headlights .
I use to have 10000k in my previuos car and I didn't experience that . if it dosent does anyone a decent kit , I can get . what are the sizes of the bulbs . I will also get 10k for my fog . can someone also help me out with . how to turn fog lights and headlights at night . like both of em open same time Posted from Camaro5.com App for Android |

dont get 10k Blue is annoying and you wont be able to see as much compared with the white HIDS. 5K or 6K. 6 give you a little tint of blue there nice

As long as you go with 35ww you'll be fine I installed 55ww and burned out my drl..

so are they safe to install them ?
if yes which brand and what website would you recommend ? I never had that problem with my grand pri fog lights . I had 10k installed in both headlights and fog and nothing ever melted Posted from Camaro5.com App for Android |

I think another issue with HID's that hasn't been mentioned is the cutoff. Without having the correct lens type (projector style) the bulbs aren't correctly projecting the light and can have the affect of blinding other drivers. Having projector style lenses helps the HID bulb direct the light appropriately. There is a reason HID lights have these types of housings and halogens have a different style. If you care about others on the road as well as the quality of light you are putting out you really should consider this. There's really more involved than just sticking a set of HID's in the hole and turning them on.
