Well the 650 lingenfelter cars are putting down 550.. I talk to brent almost daily.. they have bith dynoes.
And your argument abiut crank vrs wheel.. Lets say your right. Your car made 445 wheel. Thats 135 from flywheel. . Your new setup is 530? That puts you at well under 700 flywheel.. the amount if power a 6l90e eats is right around 21%.. at worst. |

Most bone stock ZL1's produce 480 - 500 Rear Wheel Horsepower ! The automatic transmission cars are at the lower end of the range. IF this ZL1 owner only got 536 RWHP after his mods that is only around 36 RWHP gain over bone stock with a good tune up and zero mods ! IF 580 Flywheel HP = around 480 - 500 on a stock ZL1 THEN I cannot understand where the 744 FWHP figure comes from Something is wrong here. Everyone please check out the link of a stock ZL1 making 490 RWHP. |

Rwhp #s depend on the dyno your on. only the fwhp #s stay the same. my 418 on this dyno is 490 on that dyno, which is the same as the 448 on the mustang dyno on my other sheet, what is so hard to understand about this.

My LPE 700+ hp kit plus headers and high flow cats makes 675 rwhp wich is about 755 flywheel. The car made 518 rwhp stock. (580/518 =755/675)

This is the same shit I have be writing on here for a long time. I had my SS on a Mustang dyno and it made 481 RWHP. I put it on a Dynojet and it made 556 RWHP. You always get higher numbers on a Dynojet. That is what all the mod companies use to show higher numbers. It took me some time to figure all this out but this is how it works..

On what dyno, not superflow.

As far as dynos go, the general consensus by people that to know dynos is that the mustang will read the lowest, then slightly more generous is the Dynojet with the superflow being the most generous.
I was at 715 rwhp on my LS3 before i broke a ringland and with the 15% loss i figured it was 841 at the crank. This was on a Dynojet I have no clue where your 28% figure is coming from. I believe you are an M6 and the drivetrain loss is on avg about 15% for the M6. There is something wrong with that particular dyno or the operator...no way should it be 28% off, on a dyno jet i bet you are around 600rwhp You also mention a couple posts up that this is a Flow Master dyno???? Huh, i think most have given up and i myself will go and talk to my brick wall. Anyway, good on ya for dynoing 536 to the wheels but are at a 744 to the motor.
