I had one of the first Hennessey 650R Vipers. It was awesome and it did have a stroker. It was used in the MotorTrend test in March of '98. At that time it was the fastest street legal car in the world according to Motor Trend. I have a 2010 Camaro Hennessey 600 and a 2012 ZL1 Camaro 700 Hennessey package and they are both awesome cars. Wouldn't trust anyone but Hennessey to work on my cars.

I honestly can't say whether they are good or bad, but based on the work I've seen in this forum from Lingenfelter, Livernois, ADM, JRE and a host of others I don't think that Hennessey can justify their prices. I got a quote from them for their 650HP package and with any of the other companies I mentioned above I could have easily got 750HP or better for the same price. With Hennessey you buy $5,000 worth of upgrades and $5,000 worth of trademark. That price doubles when you're talking about the 700HP deal. I saw the video about the HPE 700 package and I think the guy said it was like $20,000!!!!! For $20,000 you should be able to pick up a bit more than 120HP at the crank. Im thinking for $20,000 I should be getting at least 700RWHP. But, that's just my opinion.
