Not sure if the Havoc will match the rear? And YES I want that spoiler, anybody know where I can get one around $400?

It would bulk up the rear a lot. If your going for that look the havoc will throw it off IMO

if they weigh a few pounds more over the stocks. Hopefully not though.

Damn tommy is good with photoshop. It looks mean as hell but what about the side of the car ? How is that "slick" look of the SSX going to change with the havoc ?. Either way it's gonna look sick. Why don't you modify the stock and put the dual tips. That's way you keep te SSX look and make the rear more aggressive with the dual. The possibilities are endless man

That ps'd SSX looks exoticly aggressive from the rear... resembles a NSX GT.

Alan, I see you called yesterday. I'll let you know as soon as I am able to if we can head out tomorrow. I gave this dealership my trunk lid Monday morning and I still haven't heard from them.

My concern is that my time is up today when it comes to using my mom's car. If they don't have the trunk lid finished today, they better give me a loaner car or something.

Hey Robert, do you think the Ohio Speed Diffuser you have would match the
SSX look I'm going for?

Yes, but a quick word of warning: that diffuser is a bitch to get paint to adhere to because of its flexibility and textured surface. It will usually come to you primered with chipping paint.

Plastidip is the only thing I've noticed that sticks.

I'd stay clear of that diffuser.

And besides, if you want the SSX look... just stick with the stock diffuser since that's what it has.

Don't. Get a 1LE diffuser. It's got everything you want: looks like the stock SS diffuser but with wider openings for the dual tip exhaust. If you want the carbon look, just hydrodip it.

If you were willing to shell out for the Havoc, then you can afford the 1LE diffuser which has the advantage of being an OEM part, meaning quality and fitment is guaranteed.

Part # is 22815277

You can get it for $392.00 shipped from GMPartsDirect or Humberto can hook you up with a better price.

P.S. Also, dude, if you're frequently planning on taking this car to a road course or autocross to back up its looks, you might want to invest in a front bumper bra to wear while you're out racing if you have any concern over your car's appearance. Road courses and autocross will chip up a front bumper worst than any other driving condition.

Yeah $392 is steep for a cut out of the stock diffuser. I can get a stock one for $50, or maybe Al will sell me his? Humberto could you PM me the lowest price you can get the diffuser for?

Maybe this is just me, but I would spend the extra $$$ knowing I'm getting a clean-looking, freshly engineered part rather than cut a stock diffuser and risk it looking cheap. Unless you plan to spend actual time on the cutting project and incorporate filler and sanding so it can look clean and seamless, then I'd just get the 1LE diffuser.

*And no Anthony, I'm not trying to pick on you.
