16.5 per computer w/ 50% bumper to bumper and rest mix of lights and 40-65 mph speed limits.
Was 16.3 during the summer, probably because of the AC use. Also the engine is suddenly running better (now with 3500 miles) in terms of missing less, better idle. I did go over the engine pushing in sparkplug boots and moving wires off of rubbing points, etc. LS3. |

If you're a little nerdy like I am (OK I'm a lot nerdy) check out Fuelly.com -- you can enter in your fuel ups and keep track of your fuel consumption.
http://www.fuelly.com/driver/meissen You can see the fuel history for my 2012 v6 (Average 23.5 mpg) and my 1994 LT1 (Average 14.9 mpg). When I fill up, I just send a text message to fuelly with the code for my car, the odometer reading, the price per gallon, and how many gallons I filled up with. It then sends a reply text with how much MPGs I got with that tank of gas, what my running average is, etc. It's really nice. Plus what's also nice is if you need to remember what your odometer is for service history or whatever, you can go onto Fuelly and see what you entered for the odometer the last time you filled it up.

And this is where the flame wars start in these such threads.........idiot....
The money that I am saving on fuel costs is BS too huh? Oh wait a minute-I dont have to prove nothing to you, I only have to prove it to my checking account. It never fails in here, you save some fuel and others in here who seem to have a hard time keeping their foot out of the throttle call BS. Oh your funny!, did you write that one?

I gave up on mileage and just enjoy driving the car now.
Out of curiosity sometimes I look when I know I am going to be doing long runs on freeway and city just to see how I do against the advertised rates. Looking at the lifetime on my car (5000 miles) I'm at 20. On a long highway run, I've been as high as 26.5 City when a dared to look was 13.5. This car was purchased for fun, not for the (lack of) fuel mileage.

Getting 22 mpg avg. with my 2013 LFX mostly hwy miles. She only has 1000 miles on her so I'm hoping it will get better with time. I baby her too, hardly any hard acceleration. She was getting less than 20 at first so I guess 22 now is going the right direction.

Numbers dont lie. Lets put it like this, when I was first trying to get a Camaro, I was driving an Avalanche that was getting 16MPGs, the agreement I made with my wife to get this car is that it had to do way better on gas, I was telling her that it is advertised at something around 23city and 29 highway, she said if it got up around 29 on the highway for my commuting trips, I caould get one, but if it didn't get the good gas mileage then we would be forced to get rid of it, I lived up to that deal....I still have the car.
