What is the best mod besides the CAI and Shift knob performance wise??

What do you guys recommend?
I just installed the Hurst.
Not sure if I want CIA due to CEL!
Thanks

A shift knob is a performance mod? That's a new one on me.

Best mod for your buck is a lower rear end ratio, but it's not an easy task.

hmmm, I am sorry.... I thought a short shift would add to your performance to your Camaro

Why short shift if it wont improve your speed??

I am convinced that I will beat a stock stick shift with my Hurst.

Please correct me if I am wrong!

Thanks

yellowrs

I will look into the lower rear end ratio
Thanks

Depending on the sticker, they are good for aout 5 HP each.

Actually most common and in order of price, CAI, Headers, cam, supercharger depending on budget. A tune is good with any mod to get the max from that particular mod.

Don't worry about him.

Not all cold air intakes require a tune. There are quite a few that are no tune (wont throw a check engine light). I would recommend that to be your next mod.

Sweet bumper stickers! Somewhere there was a thread floating around that talked about how much they are each worth as far as hp too

Texas Speed and Performance makes amazing headers, especially for the price. They make 1 7/8" and 2" Primaries.

Install is easy, you can save yourself money and do it yourself. I would do it for a case of beer and maybe lunch.

Install is very easy. Me and some buds knocked it out in 2 hours. I do have a car lift though. I have the headers and straight pipes which would be what you would have. I have no tune but I am throwing a code. That is normal though. Here's what I have....just a warning...my car is extremely loud . Not legal at all but just put it in a higher gear around the coppers and you can't hear a thing . They give you the options of cats for +$270 but I didn't get them. They told me the car sounds pretty much the same either way.
