Past: Brown of any kind.. even the nice cars with brown just look like a nicer brown turd. Most of the gold colors in the 70's - 80's suck too.
Now: I'm not a fan of the Aqua Blue Metallic.. but I don't hate it. Just the 5th Gen color I like the least.

Black, too played out.
Also I think naturally aggressive looking cars are nicer with subtle dark colors, deep red, blue or metallic grey to hint the lines without shouting at people The more curvy European cars look better with brighter colors to show off the lines, dark colors make them look too muted

The funny thing is I LOVE that gold on the 4th gen's... I think a 98 SS in that color would be about as cool and unique of a 4th gen as you could get.

Now: all the reds
Then: that goldish green that was on the 70-73 I think green is a hard color to get right, too light and it looks pastel, too dark and it gets lost with the black and dark blue colors. SGM= just right. |

not a fan of white, current or in the past. Brown just doesn't belong on a Camaro IMO

Who cares, they all look good. But I wouldn't own a white or black car every again.

Past: 93-94 Purple Pearl Metallic.
Current: Blue-ray....yet another GM blue that casts purple in some lighting. GM used to always nail the blues, they pretty much fail at making a true blue now. Seems like all the blues now have to be greenish or purplish. Then they finally make a perfect amazing shade of medium blue that is true blue, no BS.....and its only available on 1 limited ed. |

All of them look good, black is definately a hard color to keep looking clean and nice and that is what my 69 was, always cleaning it! :o)
Ps. Love custom colors, makes it different.
