So I had to search the forums for a DE part of the forums but found it easily afterwards. I just got my SIM a few weeks ago from York, PA. It had 3,500 miles on it and I got it for $23,500. Not a bad deal. Drove it back to home the second day I looked at it.

I finally got it tagged this past week. I was trying to hold out on tagging it so I could find a black/white tag but couldn't find any for sale without it being over $500.

I haven't done much to it, the previous owner put the gille inserts in and that's about it. I just ordered the MRT v1 exhaust (sounds better imo) as well as the rear blackout fascia and taillight blackout kit, and the gray/black striped car cover. Hopefully they come in soon. That'll be all until after the holidays (at least).

I've seen a few camaro's at the BWW in Dover a couple Sunday's ago. Not sure if it was a get together or just a coincidence.

Anyway looking forward to spending some time on here, getting some opinions, and possibly meeting with some of you in the future.

Dave

(BTW how do I get one of those sigs for the forums on here?)

Dave

Welcome Dave........if you saw Camaros at BWW on Sunday at the beginning of November it was probably us....or at least part of the group...it was pretty cold that day...there were a few others in the crowd that lurked in the area but didn't want to say HI.
Probably, be seeing you in town all the time if you are in Dover. Don't worry I will try not to scare the crap out of you...ha ha....(if you read thru this thread and the spotted thread you will probably figure out why I say that )
You should have asked about the B&W tag at DMV when you tagged it, they started to "sell" them there and as long as you buy the antique version they would give you an eligible number.
You have a better chance of getting the newer version Black and Stainless tag.....the numbers are easier to get because it goes up to #200,000. They have a sample in the DMV or on the website. This tag also looks great on a SIM. Just stop by the office and ask.

Keep tabs on us....we will have alot more to come when the weather gets better

I'll have to look through the thread a bit more then I guess haha. My license plate number is 119499 so I'm guessing I'd be able to get the black and stainless with that since it's below 200,000? I'll have to go in and ask. Hopefully they won't make me repay my registration because I just wrote them a check for over a grand to get the car titled (taxes )

Yep, should qualify for black and stainless......You should only have to pay for the tag itself....just a warning its around $105

Yesterday ordered my black and stainless tags. Today I ordered the MRT v1 exhaust setup. Anyone know of a place to get them put on nearby? I heard midas does them for $30, but then again I've been to scotty's muffler and they charged me over a $100 for my monte carlo..

I would if I had a lift. I'm sure I can find somebody who does though either on here or one of my friends.

Yeah scotti has ripped me one too many times on my other cars. Over a buck to cut off and and weld up an already done setup. They did a good job but, took all day and is just overpriced. I'll go to the meineke when it comes in.

Jim, I think a read somewhere on here that you did a delete on your car?
