Met the owner, and he had just got it. I pretty impressive.

Any more shots or the car? Any info on the front splitter? I'm looking for something similar. I'm guessing those fenders are not stock? Were you able to find out what size tires he was running? It looks like he's running side exhaust? Thanks for sharing!!

Here you go

Did the owner mention what series or what the team name is?

From what I understand the car was made in Michigan. This was an all out race car, not a street car which was converted. The tires looked to be NASCAR spec. I'm pretty sure there wasn't a factory body panel on the car.

I've been looking for a front splitter for a while but just haven't found one that I like that would be applicable for road racing.

Judging by looks, someone spent some time in a tunnel with this car or they made it look like they did.

For sure, I wish we knew the name of the company that built the car.....especially if they have already done testing on the splitter! I still need to seal out the bottom of the car and the splitter is the first step!

They have done something with cooling too. The upper section of the grille appear to be mostly covered.

This is probably the closest I've seen to one that size.

I've seen that one quite a few time, but not really impressed with it. I wish Vette parts were interchangable! The vettes have a closeout panel under the car, and use front brake ducting. Something close to that would be awesome. Haven't seen any company create anything like this so that's why I'm currently working on creating my own based off the vette's design.

Maybe mesh so air can flow through? I'm thinking they are using the fog light spaces for brake cooling. I always love looking at these race spec cars, tons of great ideas. Proven Wicked's car even replaces the rear side windows with nayaducts, which is a great idea! too bad i do occasionally drive mine on the street.

My shop is currently building a road race spec C5 vette, and it's given me some great ideas too.
