The only thing I will say, is that due to this my parents have brought up firearms. Something of Which I have never seen them do.

I know the 'Zombie' attack comment was sarcasm but I happen to believe that an all out collapse of gov. and economy is a possibility. And we might just one day wish we had an assault rifle and ammo.

And, while I don't know wether Isoroku Yamamotos alleged comment (You cannot invade the mainland United States. There would be a rifle behind every blade of grass.) was actually said my him, it never-the-less remains a valid sentiment. I take solace in this. I refuse to be a ruled sheep.

Well almost 3000 people on 9/11, not a single gun involved. Guess we should outlaw planes... People will always find ways to commit horrible acts, but even more people will come together to work thru tragedy. It's how it has always been and always will be.

Right.... I mean lets look at some things here. Gun deaths are at 30,000 a year roughly. in the year 2009 (quick searches) roughly 17,000 of them were suicides. So roughly 13,000 were homicides.

in any given year over 40,000 people will die by abusing the drug aspirin.

Wow, are we going to ban aspirin. NO! bayer has the government in their back pockets.

Roughly between 44,000 and 100,000 people die each year from medical errors in medicine and other preventable treatments. Yet are we arresting doctors and throwing away the key. NO!

These are not facts, i.e. i said lets look at some things here. But these are some telling tales. We are being exterminated by the very medicine thats here to help yet do we do anything about it? NO anyone at any age can buy aspirin.

everyone that doesn't own a gun says they should be banned. When shit hits the fan who are they going to run to? The same people who own the guns they want to ban!

On another note if some of these people who own guns especially around kids would keep then in a friggin safe where they should be a lot of these shootings would never take place!!!!

Agreed, Mine is not in a safe however. The firing pin is hidden, the bolt carrier is not in the upper receiver and I have a trigger lock on the gun as well. It is also hidden in a secret compartment I built. Gotta love ingenuity. but I also have no "children" in the house other than a 22 and 18 yr old COMPLETELY SANE brothers.


They will come running asking for us to protect them or to give them one of our " ASSULT WEAPONS!" so that they at least have a fighting chance against fully automatic and submachine guns.

When I lived in a place with no worries of kids I always had a gun locked and loaded in my night stand. Now I have to worry so they are all in a safe. I have to have a safe now.....15 guns and counting. Getting hard to hide them all lol

Very true. I will be ready. When not if a Big natural disaster hits I will survive they won't!

imagine if all of the east coast was hit terribly by the hurricane and all communications, electric, transport such as cars were unable to be used. What would be happening? We would turn back to our animalistic nature and begin fighting for our lives.

Maybe when people realize that we are just animals that have developed a conscience and not some form of higher being we will all be reground. Remember people we are warm blooded animals. We are at the very core a still animals that will fight for our survival.

couldn't of said it better myself! All I know is I am set. I have several peeps that know our plan when shit goes bad. This place will be a small fortress that nobody will want to mess with.
