Installed high flow cats and wow, it's too loud
I've got the SOLO Axle-back without mufflers, a true X-pipe and now I installed high-flow cats today and it's the most obnoxious raspy loud and I kind of like it! I think I need some mufflers now though.

Ya the cats really restrict flow and sound, congrats on the upgrade.

I will have a pair of Solo HFC for sale in a couple months. just bought headers and dont need the HFC. They sound really good.

The Solo high flow cats are a great upgrade but without mufflers you'll get some rasp for sure. Try adding a Solo Mach-X mid muffler in place of your X-pipe. Then you would have pretty much built one of their Mach-XL catbacks.

I'm running the HFC's, xpipe no mufflers/resonators. Rasp isn't too bad although it is there however it's not a big deal to me.
