Took me a couple hours. It's pretty straight forward. The directions are really easy to follow. The hardest part is getting to the bolts on the two outside taillights....that was pretty difficult.

The first mode you will see is the turn signals obviously (sequential), then when you hit the breaks you will see the rapidfire which will quickly go solid, then when the rapidfire become permanent is when I put the emergency lights on. There is also an off road "show mode" which combines rapidfire and sequential effects. I do not have that hooked up yet.

It was about 40 degrees with a 25 degree wind chill lol. Shorts and tee shirt weather

Completely street legal. Just can't use the show mode while driving.
