Not official "popo" car. That appears to be a personally owned vehicle that has had strobes, a couple light bars, wig wags (...thought I saw them), and what not (CB radio) added to it. That is not used for regular traffic stops and probably wouldn't be able to be legitamately used to stop someone. You all saw the hideaways and wig wags in my car. But, I'd bet my next pay check that he doesn't go out and stop vehicles in this. My best guess is that his dept policy says that he needs the vehicle to be distinguishable in the sense that it needs decals, etc showing it's police and not a kid w/ money who wants to toss in red n' blues to have some fun.

Each state is diffent... Florida won't let anyone have red 7 blue, Texas Constables can equip the personal vehicles.
Oklahoma...if you are a reserve deputy or a regular deputy & the Sheriff "okay" it... state law allow you to equip your personal vehicle.... I know because I've been a reserve & my Camaro will be equiped ...Not a V6 either.... will be posted when it's ready!!...

It's just depends on what State you are in.

I'm suprised it wasn't a SS model. Like to know what type of mods they did to the motor if any? I used to always think it was cool how North or South Carolina used to sport the Mustangs back in the 90's. Glad they used a Camaro & not the Challenger or Mustange. Guess they wanted to make sure they didn't get out ran!! Wonder how high up he is? Surely that's a seargant. Never wanted to be a cop but heck they say women love uniforms hell he has double the luck in that case! Sure it's women galore!
