GM Executive Referral

Hey everyone, sorry if this is in the wrong section...

I was able to get a GM Executive Referral for the 2SS I plan on buying...

Can anyone give me any info on this? As far as I know, I'd pay the cost of the car, period.

I really didn't know what to expect but I went in today and they gave me a print out with my discount and it said GM Emp. Price...?

I was in a rush so I had to leave and I didn't notice it...

It's about $5,000 off the price of the car. I'll give you the real figure once I'm home and can see the paper.

Does that sound right? What's the difference between GM Employee Pricing and an Executive Referral.

Well, if it is a dealer in Phoenix, they will add $20k to the sticker

It's the employee price.

There are differant levels of discount. 3 I know of. GM family first, GM supplier and GMS. I am sure there are more. GMS is actuall employee discount.

My father in law was retired GM and we have used the GMS on all our vehicles. I have heard people bargain down to suppplier price area but never GMS. And propably not on the Camaro.

I got GM dealer employee pricing on mine . I think it was $500 off . Varies by car.

Employee pricing saved me about $1,500 on a 1SS that listed for $33,000 (so about 4.5%). In the old days (early 2000's) employee pricing would get you tons more (like 16% off).

There is still supplier pricing as I can get it through my job. It would give me about $1,100 off a brand new 2013 Camaro SS

I got the GMS discount and the sticker on mine 27k plus TTL and it came out to 29 and some change. after applying the code i paid 22,700.00 plus TTL so about 24,700.00

Not officially no,there is "Preferred" pricing but thats it.

In Canada, the 2013 2SS/RS with 1LE and Nav is about $50k and the code put it down to $44ish.

I'd like to see what an Executive Referral is. I've never heard of it.

As far as being a discount, I know that GM Preferred pricing is on every invoice on the far right column. It's clearly labelled if you want to check out my sticky on how to read an invoice. Other discounts should be taken off of this price or invoice for the best possible deal.

I never heard of Executive pricing either,might be a Canadian only thing for pricing there.
And yes,Preferred pricing is on the right column,this is where "Supplier" and "GMS" pricing use to be.
