Reduced Engine Power - please give advice

hey guys. i own a 2012 ls camaro and a month ago i was driving down the road and the check engine light popped up with Reduced Engine Power. car wont let me speed up and shakes everytime i try. took it to the dealership and they said they "fixed" the issue. next day same problem happened. the dealership has told me they've fixed the issue FIVE different times and its still not fixed. they're in contact with GM engineers now and the regional direction is involved. i'm just wondering on your input and what you guys think i should do. at this point i want a new car. only down side is i've put $7,000 worth of mods onto my car

i didn't write down the exact codes but the dealership said it has to do with the fuel pressure regulator. and they've replaced the harness to it, the regulator itsself

Hopefully they are able to figure out the problem. It could be a lot of things...fuel system, computer, ignition, etc...

Sounds like your powertrain warranty should still be good, since none of those mods are related. However, if it does come down to GM buying back your car or offering another one, I doubt they will give you a cent for any modifications you've done.

I also have 2006 chevy tahoe and same thing happened to me about 4 months ago. Since it 6 year old my cousin who is also a auto tech told me to replace the battery. So i did I haven't have that problem since then but you camaro is new so gm should buy it back and give you a new one. I hope you get money for your mods also. good luck

Sounds like a leaky injector dropping rail pressure. Just an educated guess.

I have a 03 Tahoe and also keep getting Reduced Engine Power. Scanned it and I got the codes:
P1515; P1516; P2135

Anyone who has suggestions it would be greatly appreciated. Already replaced the throttle body and thought it was fixed. But it has been acting up again lately.

I've gotten that message twice now. Earlier this year....around Feb. and after filling the tank (I was a little under a quarter) it went away. I got it this morning and think it has to do with my tire pressure sensors not being read. I put the stock 20s on and used the tpms from a SS since I plan on switching back to the 18s in the winter and my sensors havent been reading them even after doing the relearn process.

I'm going to fill it up, I bought the tpms relearn tool (product #el-50448). I've never had a problem with mines outside of the tpms issue. I'm bone stock.
