I'm not a fan of those rims. I like the black on the actual "rim" but would like the spokes to be chrome or maybe have a satin finish that isn't black.
The grill is sweet BTW. |

Here is your straight on posted picture Brian. Looks to me that the 1st "S" ( Red A ) Seems much wider than the 2nd "S" ( Red B ) ![]() I did a comparison by duplicating the 2nd "S" and ended up with the results of the Green A & B. I like the stuff you're doing with the Camaro, but got to say the first "S" is driving me crazy as why it looks wider? ![]() Anyways, great work with all the rest and perhaps, I might figure this out! |

The car unfinished looks very very good. Probably if you add the chrome Side Rib Louvers it might give it more of a "POP" that he's talking about. People miss the gills, i know i do lol.

Are you going to install halos(car is not truly an RS). Better rims out there, too. I think the grill is cool(how much?)..and
if you can do something awesome w/ the hood as well.. |

not sure what the sizes are but the rear wheels look a little bit too big, and where the spokes meet the actual rim, i would like to see a thinner connection. =D

well first off they are not rims they are set of wheels. rim is what the tire mounts to. well for me i dont dig the grill. but i am glad you did it first cause my friend and i were talking about that. second i am anal about wheels to and i dont dig either. maybe its cause i see more of a set of racing wheels. i could see those on a truck but of course a bigger size. also are you planning on upping the brake size to fill in the gap? other then that i don't know what to say. sorry not trying to be rune i don't hate not like the guy whos putting cheap kickers in his car how degradeing.

Love the grill, the wheels are too much though. They overpower the rest of the car, and not necessarily in a good way. I agree that black spokes with chrome might work better. Keep the mods coming!

Well for what it's worth heres my honest 2 cents.
Firstly, I like both the grill and the wheels to a certain extent. It's really the mix of things that is feeling a little miss matched. What I mean is, I like the grill but not with those wheels. I like the wheels also but not with that grill (as is). I think with the grill so bright and in your face and the chromed gas cap, it's a nice contrast against the black, but too bling for my taste.... reminds me too much of all that bling bling like a guy with a chrome grill in his mouth and rings the size of his fist and a necklace thats so heavy it's going to drag his head to the floor at any moment. I think only Method Man can get away with that, and if this was his car it would totally work lol. I think it would be good to pick either the black chrome theme, or the darker theme... With the black/chrome, I would say get some wheels with a little more shine/chrome to them and you're good to go... Subtract the "RS" since it's not RS maybe even consider some chrome window trim or something small elsewhere to spread the attention. In it's current state I think attention is drawn too heavily to the front primarily and then the gas cap... That would be my primary reason for adding more shine/chrome to the wheels/maybe window trim. or door handles or something. The bowtie looks great with the black/chrome theme. Now, what I'd personally suggest for a darker theme.... Keep the wheels. they're nice (personal taste) Some people wont like em. I personally do. But the grill needs some darkening to fit with those wheels. It's way too flashy, if you two toned the grill so that it takes away some of the shine it'd fit much nicer.. Blacken either the outer face of the grill or the inner.. either way it'll add more contrast that I think it needs. The gas cap.... I dunno, I can't tell from the pick if it's got the camaro lettering, but maybe blacken the lettering? Or I suppose leaving it is fine too.. It is a small cap so it's not TOO big of a distraction. I'm not a fan of the chrome caps, but I don't think they're too bad. Anyways, I love the subtle stealth attitude the wheels bring, I love the shape/styling of the grill... It's mostly about balancing out the colors & tones that I think needs to be done. Just pick one or the other so that things come together a little more synchronized. Thats my 2 cents. Nice car though Don't sweat the people that feel the need to spew verbal vomit. (And hide behind a brand new alias to post it)I have plans for my car when it arrives that I'm sure quite a few people won't appreciate.. but that's my personal taste... and since it's going to be my personal car.. I'm doing it for ME. Period. |
