I used Quality Motorsports in Lewisville, TX. Talk to Patrick about their back ground and experience. Mostly vettes but our engine platforms are pretty similar. I am pretty happy with my driveability of my car now. He does street tuning and dyno tuning.

If I'm going to drive that far, I'll go back to Houston where my builder and original tune was done. Thanks though.

Chris is a great tuner for several platforms/makes. Not too many Camaro owners comfortable with him though. Also he tunes with EFI Live and I use HP tuners. I have nothing against him. There are a few others here but are fairly new to the LS tuning world, I don't want to be a guinea pig again.

Understand what you're saying there. That's why I'm not rushing anything. I've got a strong set up not and if need be is what I'll stick with.

I've heard nothing but great things from this guy.
I've talked with him about building my 383 for my old Corvette also.... but she's still in the paint shop.

And watch out if you go there, the shop is tucked away in the back. I passed by it twice.

Pretty frustrated right now. I have the money to pay off my car but I can't. Because the deposit I just got back from my old apartment is to be payed to Me AND my wife. So my bank won't cash the check.

Best part of this? My wife is in freaking Ohio.

EDIT: Got that taken care of. So now my car is paid off....minus $0.01. Wouldn't let me pay it off online so Im going to call my bank tomorrow. But im excited.

New hood pic - Waiting until tomorrow to have a hood striker added so it will actually stay shut... for some reason the hood didn't have it? Anyways, here is the test fit. Hood fits nicely. Not quite perfect, but works for me.

That it is, its officially completely paid off and the title should be on the way come Monday. Best part is I still have some money in the bank, bad part is I can not spend said money on the car. Gotta start saving up for when I get out of the Army here in a few months. If everything works out though my aunt is buying another house back home come February that she is going to rent to me for cheap, so hopefully I got enough money to do some things to the car. Assuming I atleast get a decent job. I have a lot of leave saved up though so I have almost 3 months to find a job before my last pay check comes from the Army.

Nice, hope everything goes in nicely. Give you a little more piece of mind im sure. Perfect example of enough just isn't enough. So now that the transmission is taken care of...how about that hood?

We going to have another get together this month? Im leaving for home around the 25th. So hopefully it would be before then.
