Horrible experience

Hi, I have a 2012 Camaro. I basically had the engine power reduced error on my car, I took it in for service at my nearest Chevy dealer. They had my car for several days and when I went to pick it up it had the same code. I had to leave the car even longer until after thanksgiving (total of about 6 days). When I picked it up they mentioned that it wasn't the aftermarket halos that I had purchased. They said it was the fog lights that I installed (I purchased the fog lamps, wiring harness, and the bezels from Chevy). My father who is a mechanic, checked the car to see what exactly was done and he saw that the Chevy mechanic cut the wires in my car, lost a screw for the engine cover, and also broke some brackets in the back of the of the engine. We have been trying to dispute this but when my father called GM they said as long as the car is in working order they cannot do anything about it. Furthermore when GM tried calling the dealer that I dropped my car off at, they said my car was never there for service, they gave us a rental, since they had my car for longer than a day, and they wanted to charge my father the rental as well. I feel like Chevy has not given me any good customer service at all and I am very upset. I would like to know if anyone can help me or if anyone can let me know about someone that can help.

What screw exactly did they lose on the engine cover? Mine dosen't have any screws on it at all.. What brackets on the back of the engine are broken?
Also rentals are covered but gas and insurance is not. Maybe that's what they wanted to charge for. There has to be a record if it was taken in. It's all computerized and you should have gotten a copy of the service receipt with the service request number when you picked up your car.
