I was always under the impression that the Viper was function over form.

Which Knight Rider? There were a couple different iterations, IIRC. Most recent was a Shelby, right? There was also one with a Dodge Stealth.
Anyway, I'd pick the Viper... to do burnouts and then return to my Firebird. Duh.

was kite bullet proof? cant remember... i know viper was, plus viper had the ability to disable any cars with its side taser gun things or the lil remote one that dropped out from underneath.. i enjoyed that show..

KITT was definitely bulletproof.
