It would not sound very different, and it does not drone and that is your Major concern with L99s

As long as AFM is Off LOL

I have the DynaTech LTs, HF cats and exhaust system (with a JRE tune) on my 2011 L99 and it sounds very similar to the video. It is reasonably tame (quiet) if you go easy on the throttle, but roars when you goose it. Not annoying at all from inside the car when cruising the Interstate. I've had many people compliment me on the sound of the car.

I'd rather not void my warranty though on a brand new car.

We have installed 7 of these, 4 with the LT's and cats, 1 L99. Its a awesome sounding system. Just the cat back has a real mellow tone at idle with an aggressive note when getting on it. Inside the car there is no drone and when the AFM kicks in it is less noticable than any other cat back system we have ever installed.
With the long tubes it has an aggressive sound at idle and absolutely roars when your on it, actually really loud, but inside the car its very nice, not loud at all, no drone, very comfortable on the freeway, barely louder than stock while cruising.
We just installed one on another new car we have on the showroom since the first one we did sold within 2 weeks, we had 3 identical black 2SS's and the customer thought the Dynatech equiped car sounded like a Camaro should. It also helps us sell them having a car with it on so people can hear and drive it. This system sells itself.

It Does not fit convertibles or cars equiped with the GM ground effects kits. Dynatech is working on those kits.

A Catback system will not void your warranty!

The Dynatech JRE 415 Street Package w/ this Dynatech catback just went to the top of the list for my next mod. Love what I'm hearing or not hearing!! (fyi, I will never drive a car or truck again with drone.) I knew if I waited long enough, the right exhaust for me would eventually show up!!

I'm still loving it. Just cruising around isn't bad at all. and when you get on it, it IS loud, but not so much from inside the car, which is what I like about it. I suppose you can annoy people, but if you stay off the throttle, you will be fine with your neighbors....
