To those installing the pump. You do not have to drop the rear K-Frame all the way. We can normally do them in a couple of hours. Also, I recommend the kent moore tool for removing the ring. At the very least get a brass chisel. If you have sparks near a gas vapors your going to have a bad day mmmmmkkkk

Lastly, even if you AFR is OK with the stock pump be wary that you still may have HUGE fuel pressure drops. That may not be such a bad thing in warm weather but we've had cars creep dangerously lean in winter months.

That is a great price for the fuel pump but to add the pump controller you are paying 177 for that alone. It usually sells for 120ish

Our ADM SPEC programmed controller is $199.00

What controller are you talking about?

I am going to be having my rear sub frame dropped to do a full bushing upgrade. Wondering if I should get this done at the same time to save from(possibly) ever having to drop the rear sub frame again. Seems like a cheap upgrade. Im eventually going to put a TVS2300 on the car.

Only makes sense now as it is only 1 more hour to do it

there are some small tweaks to the tune for the adm controller...I know this from a local car.

PQ, did you get the ZL1 pump insalled? Did it solve your pressure problems?

I just installed a ZL1 pump and i'm seeing pressure drop on WOT to 48lbs. Unfortunatley i did not log the stock bump and did not cut an access door. I disconnected the BAP and didn't see any change, so I'm guessing the BAP isn't currently working. However, i would expect the ZL1 pump to maintain pressure as I'm just over 600 hp.

I'm going to test my BAP tomorrow...someone gave me a tip to connect your air compressor to the vacume tube at 10psi to test it.

our dealer can't pull up any of these part#'s they say to use GM-13579899 so what is the correct part# for these fuel pumps ??

I think you also need a new fpcm with a tune tweak
