P Zero miles?
32,965 miles on original tires. Totally could have squeezed 33k but didn't want to chance it with the rain we've had lately. Might want to do new tires a little earlier next time.

Eek!!! I've got 57,000km on my car and run winter tires. I need to eyeball mine when I get home. I don't think they are anywhere near as worn, but I'm going to check for sure.

Geezus. You live on the edge don't you? Why are the fronts worse?

WOW!! Are there no laws stateside, requiring a minimum tread depth? Those things are like slicks, which must have been awful in the wet for what must have been the last 2000 miles or so.

Yeah, we pretty much got laws for everything, sometimes 2 or more for the same thing! Rule of thumb was putting the top of a penny into the groove and if it reached Lincoln's eyebrows, tires are still good. However, not sure if that holds true for P Z'0s. However, growing up poor, those tires still have plenty of life left and when done, can be a gorilla swing or a bumper guard against a wall and/or a flower planter. Need is the mother of invention you know. |

I do a lot of "spirited" back road driving. Apparently high speed cornering is harder on fronts than rears. And yes, I do tend to live on the edge. I'm also a cheap ass but in any case I let these go too far before replacing.

back ones were shot at about 18,000 miles, front ones at 26k, but the front ones were my fault.. front end was out of alignment and I knew it... I mean the back ones were my fault too, but that was because of my foot...
I replaced the back ones 1st and then the front ones a few months later... but when I wear the back ones out(again, lmao)... i'm going to replace all 4 with something more aggressive on the back and a matching brand tire on the front, thinking about Nitto NT05s on the back and NT 420s on the front...
