TSP has a bigger size and are pretty cheap for stainless steel, pace are not and will rust. Just my .2

Like pretty much all LT's I'm sure they will perform well enough but the long term durability is the main issue. If you plan to drive your car year round and it will ever see snow then I would avoid them for something made from SS.

Non at all you can even go 2" no issues whatsoever.

Pace only makes 1 3/4 sizes iirc and IMHO those are too small. Get the 1 7/8's or bigger.

TSP all the way compared to Pacesetter. JBA has a good price on theirs too.

I got Pacesetters, got a good deal on them though. If I was you I would go ahead and just get the TSP's either 1 7/8" or 2".

They're the best cheapest header out there. Matter of fact, I don't think that I've seen a cheaper header that I'd put on a Camaro than the Pacesetters.

With that being said, there are certainly benefits and disadvantages of putting a cheaper header on but for what it's worth, I'm sure you'll get your money out of em!!

Good luck and let us know if we can be of service!

Advantges is that they're LT's which give you the most power from the exhaust and they are cheap.

Disadvantages are that they are mild steel instead of 304SS which WILL rust over time. Much like many of the "cheap" alternatives, they are hit/miss on quality.

It's been a while since I looked them up but at the time they weren't much if any cheaper than TSP's 304SS headers once you factor in everything you had to buy seperately. Some places have them packaged with everything you need but other places sell just the headers. That means you'll have to get extentions pipes and possibly O2 extentions. When looking at the Pacesetters, make sure you note what's in the package.

They are a cheap mild steel header!

I found the below JBA Long Tubes to be WAY better quality and come with o2 extensions and are stainless steel.

I have ceramic coated Pacesetters on my 4th gen and they have held up very well but not too sure about the uncoated mild steel headers.
